This conference is a space for black scholars, social workers, students, and community leaders to come together to reflect, heal, and envision new possibilities. This year's theme—"relationships" and the importance of their many dimensions—explores the ways family, community, and connection shape health, wellbeing, and resilience. The journeys and leadership of those who engage in this work reflect the heart of this theme, highlighting how mentorship, solidarity, and collective belief play a vital role in personal and professional growth. Voices that speak to these experiences resonate deeply—encouraging students preparing to enter this vital work, affirming practitioners who walk alongside individuals and communities each day, and reminding us all of the strength that comes from standing together. This gathering is grounded in a shared commitment to equity, justice, and healing, and offers an opportunity to connect with a community united by these values.
